Download the source by click on Code button and select Download ZIP and extract it anywhere you feel like.To compile the client, you also need to download and install the DirectX SDK, which is also available at the Microsoft's website.If something is missing, you can always add new components later in the IDE clicking on Tools -> Get Tools and Features. Everything else not needed to be changed. During the installation, it will prompt you to chose Workloads, and in the list, make sure Desktop development with C++ is checked. Visual Studio Community is recommended, it is free, but an account will be required to use. Download and install Visual Studio from the Microsoft's website.There might be more tasks to complete than it's listed.
